Series Overview

Series can be attached only to Posts and not pages of other types. Defining a series allows you to set some vital information, like cover image, title, summary and description. This information is used while showing the series listing.

Create New Series

Select Project > Host > Page > Listing Pane > Series and click Create New Series.

  • Provide a name for the Series and click Create.
  • Click on the created series and click Settings.
  • Provide an appropriate image, title, and other details. Then click Update.

You are now ready to tag your posts with this newly created series.

Tag Post to Series

When you open any Post settings, you will get an option called Series. All the Series that you have declared at the site level would be present here. Simply tag the given post with the Series, and save.

Series Style

Available for each post, you can configure how you want to show the series widget for selected post.

  • Collapsed: Collapse the series by default
  • Expanded: Expand the series by default
  • None: Hide the series information

Series Settings

Series settings can be customised at the site level by clicking Listing Pane > Settings > Page Settings

series settings

Use the following settings to fine-tune how Series functionality behaves in every page:

  • series_background_color: Change background color of the Series section.
  • series_border_width: By default, the series section doesn't have any border. You can increase the border width.
  • series_border_radius: Create rounded borders instead of the pointy edges.
  • series_border_color: Pick a color for the background. You can see this in action only when the border width is greater than 0.
  • series_heading: The text that is shown for Series label can be configured.
  • series_text_color: Change the color of the Series label.

There are a couple of settings that are applicable for the Post listing page only.

  • series_count: It shows the configured number of Series in the post listing page.
  • series_width: The card design for each card can be configured here.
