You can set page related meta data for every page. However, if you don't set it at the page level, we fill that meta data for a better SEO by using options from General Settings.

general settings

  • Title - Text that appears on the Tab or Browser Window. It is a good idea to provide a default Title for the Website.
  • Description - Used for Website description to define meta tags.
  • Favicon Image - We strongly recommend providing a square image that is small in size (less than 300x300px).

A favicon, short for "favorite icon," is a small graphic symbol or logo associated with a website. It appears in the browser's address bar, bookmark list, and tab headers when the website is open. Typically square in shape and sized at 16x16 pixels or 32x32 pixels, favicons serve as visual representations of a website or brand. They help users quickly identify and distinguish websites among multiple open tabs or bookmarks. Favicons are created as ICO, PNG, or GIF files and are added to websites by developers using HTML code. These tiny icons contribute to the overall visual appeal and brand recognition of websites, enhancing the browsing experience for users.
  • Social Share Image - Used for Open Graph meta tags. It is strongly recommended to provide a nice and relevant image for your website. This image will be used while sharing your pages in Twitter/Facebook Card automatically. It allows only PNG/GIF & JPG as accepted file type which is larger than 300x300px because most social media websites ignores images which are too small.

OpenGraph is a technology and protocol developed by Facebook to enable websites to provide rich and structured metadata about their content. It allows website owners to define specific attributes, such as title, description, image, and URL, that social media platforms and other services can use when displaying shared links. By implementing OpenGraph tags in the HTML code of their webpages, website owners can control how their content appears when shared on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. OpenGraph metadata provides a way to ensure that the shared links have compelling and accurate previews, including relevant images and descriptions, which can increase engagement and improve the overall user experience on social media.
  • Copyright Text - This text is added just below the footer on every page. {year} is a special placeholder since this will be replaced by the current year while publishing the website.
  • Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn - Your social media handle for the website (if any). This will be used to add relevant information in the OpenGraph meta tags which social media websites can automatically discover.
